The Heartland Education Foundation, previously known as The Kingsborough Education Foundation, Inc., is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization funded through real estate transactions in Heartland.  The Foundation operates exclusively for the benefit of Heartland and Crandall Independent School District promoting innovative educational programming to support student achievement.

The Heartland Education Foundation was established to financially support neighborhood schools. The foundation is funded by ½ of 1% tax on every real estate transaction in Heartland and provides enhanced educational opportunities for Heartland students, such as innovative programming, technology, equipment, and art programs.
