Perot Museum of Nature and Science

The Perot Museum’s Community Programs Department is dedicated to providing opportunities for STEM learning across the DFW area by bringing hands-on experience to the classroom. Much more than a collection of exhibits and specimens – the Perot Museum of Nature & Science offers a variety of exciting, hands-on programs specifically created to inspire and bring science directly to the school with all the supplies and know-how needed to engage students in exciting exercises. Examples of the most popular classes include Engineering Ninja Warriors, Maker Labs, Electrical Exploration, Bio Labs and Solar Superstars. The Heartland Education Foundation provides funds to CISD to allow teachers to select specific programming in alignment with the school curriculum as well as a variety of field trips throughout the year.
